Ingredients
500 g strawberries
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper, e.g. Kampot Noir or Indian mountain pepper
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
preparation
Cut the strawberries into eighths and place them in a heatproof bowl. Then sprinkle with sugar and leave to cool for a few hours.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, season the strawberries with pepper and balsamic vinegar, then put them in the oven for 8 minutes until the juice is bubbling and the strawberries are hot but not mush.
