Fermented pepper
Fermented pepper is an absolute rarity. It is not dried in the sun like other peppers, but preserved by adding sea salt. During the fermentation process, the pepper develops its very special aroma. It tastes almost like freshly harvested pepper. When you bite into the peppercorn, it cracks and all the aromas explode in your mouth. The taste is fruity, intense, peppery and salty.
