Ingredients
450 ml of water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
200 g couscous
1 medium red onion
juice of one lemon
5 tablespoons olive oil
Salt
Timiz Pfeffer
2 cloves of garlic
4 tomatoes
½ cucumber
1 bunch of parsley
3 – 4 sprigs of mint
preparation
In the first step, bring water with soy sauce to the boil, stir in couscous, cover and let swell over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Second, finely dice the tomatoes and the cucumber. If the cucumber is too watery, scrape out the middle and use only the firmer part.
Then mix finely chopped onions and garlic cloves, salt, olive oil and lemon juice in a bowl. Season with finely ground Timiz pepper. Now add the diced tomatoes and cucumber as well as the chopped herbs. Finally, loosen the couscous with a fork and stir in. Leave the salad to marinate for a couple of hours.
