Goat cheese honey plums with Kampot Rouge long pepper

These goat cheese honey plums are a sweet and easy summer appetizer or snack.

Ingredients for 2 servings

6 sugar plums or 4 regular plums, halved and pitted
60 g goat cheese
1 teaspoon honey and more for garnish
3 basil leaves, chopped and divided
½ tablespoon pine nuts, roasted
Fresh Kampot Rouge long pepper

preparation

In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 leaf chopped basil with a spoon. Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollow of each plum half.

Top with toasted pine nuts and remaining basil. Drizzle more honey over the top before serving. Season with finely or coarsely ground Kampot Rouge long pepper.

PS. No plums? Use peaches, nectarines or other ripe stone fruits.
