Ingredients
2 medium-sized carrots
4-5 spring onions
1 cup green peas
Medium-sized red onion
2 medium-sized tomatoes
1-2 green chili peppers
2-3 cloves of garlic
½ teaspoon caraway powder
½ teaspoon ground Sichuan pepper ( Timut pepper )
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon roasted mustard oil
2 tablespoons sesame paste
Salt
lemon juice
coriander
garlic leaves or wild garlic leaves (optional)
preparation
First, wash the carrot, peel it, cut it into 2 cm strips and put it in a large bowl. After that, add a cup of sweet green peas. And then add finely chopped onions, spring onions, garlic leaves, chili peppers, tomatoes and garlic to the bowl. Season with cumin, turmeric powder and ground Sichuan pepper. Last but not least, add a tablespoon of toasted mustard oil, sesame paste and salt.
The last step is to add a tablespoon of lemon juice. Then all the ingredients are mixed thoroughly so that the spices are evenly distributed. Add some finely chopped coriander and the salad is ready to serve.
