Origin dark Kampot Rouge
Dark Kampot Rouge is a red pepper from Kampot, Cambodia.
The dark Kampot Rouge pepper grows in the south of the Kampot province , which lies between the southern foothills of the Elephant Mountains and the Gulf of Thailand. Due to this special location - between mountains and sea - the pepper plant grows on particularly nutrient-rich soil and can therefore develop its full aroma.
Unique aroma & taste
The aroma of Kampot Rouge pepper is fruity and full-bodied, with notes of ripe, dark berries. The hand-picked, naturally dried peppercorns are rust-brown and dark red. This pepper has the highest spiciness because it was harvested at the optimum level of ripeness. At the same time, it is very aromatic due to the remaining pulp.
It is also suitable for mortar and mill.
Thanks to its processing without additives and storage in a violet glass jar, Kampot Rouge pepper retains its freshness and intensity.
