Whole white pepper berries from Cameroon
aroma
Penja Blanc grows on volcanic soil, which is rich in minerals and gives the pepper its character. The pepper has a round, intense spiciness. The peppercorns are also fully ripened. It has a robust and powerful taste with a mineral aroma. It goes well with seafood, poultry, vegetables, orange and pear.
This white pepper is picked when it is fully ripe. The farmers then clean the pepper in running water for several days. This removes the outer shell and only the core of the pepper remains.
In the next step, the pepper kernel is dried in the sun and selected by hand. After that, only the largest and most perfect berries are selected and packaged.
The pepper is stored in a violet glass jar, which guarantees that it is always stored dry and dark.
